Babysitting Course

When: July 13 & July 14, 2021
Time: 9:00 a.m. -12:30 p.m.
Where: The Hut (35 Golden Hill St)
Who: Boys and girls ages 11- 15
Cost: $65

Prerequisites: Participants must be 11 years old by the completion of the course. To obtain the full certification you must attend the course in its entirety. Bring a morning snack and water.

Learning Objectives: To provide youth who are planning to babysit with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibility give care for children and infants. This training will help participants to develop leadership skills; learn how to develop a babysitting business, keep themselves and others safe and help children behave; and learn about basic child care and basic first aid.

Dance Camp

When: July 26 - July 30, 2021
Time: 9:00am-12:00pm
Where: Held at King Park
Who: Open to boys and girls entering grades 1-8 in the fall of 2021
Cost: $50 per child | Limited Registration | No before or after care available.

Summer Day Camp (Entering Grades K-8)

When: Beginning June 28, 2021
Time: 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Where: Held at Vernon Park (Freeborn St. in Newport) & Aquidneck Park
Who: Open to boys and girls entering grades K-8 in the fall of 2021
Cost: Newport Residents $105 per week | Non-Residents $125 per week
