MISSION A group of 20 – 25 people, representing a diversity of interests and insight, selected to assist city staff and the consultant team, Interface Studio LLC, with the preparation, public engagement and advocacy of the Comprehensive Plan Update. The NCPAC is separate and distinct from the specialty focus groups to be established for specific Comprehensive Plan Chapters. Meetings to occur virtually every other month, in addition to various public engagement events. Duration of the commitment is to November 2026. RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide insight based on lived experience and general knowledge of the community.
Review work and drafts produced by the consultant team, and propose changes, as needed.
Actively contribute to discussions during meetings, workshops and other engagement activities.
Advocate for the plan within the community.
Ensure that all voices are included in a meaningful way throughout the development of the plan.
QUALIFICATIONS
Strong connection to the community.
Ability to meet virtually, every other month, to monitor progress and provide feedback until November 2026.
